Bostik VR House

Rasterized images

These images where taken out of the VR application at the final stage of the project. Showing the orbs with which can be interacted while using the app.

Path Traced Images

These images where created at the end of the proof of concept phase of the project for internal and external promotional of the application. Showing off the beauty and capability of the unreal engine pathtracing engine.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Bostik wanted to have an easy way of showing the application of their various products. They came up with the idea of the ‘Bostik house’ in which we would be able to show all the products and their application.

TASKS

Once I took over the project some of the spaces where already created but not with a real time engine in mind. My first task was to move the whole project to Unreal and recreate the renders that came out the offline render (Cinema 4d with Corona). The results are the path traced images below. Once the client saw what was possible with Unreal they wanted everything turned into a VR project. I optimized all the models, uv’s and textures, placed everything in a VR project, and created the interaction with the orbs. I was responsible for everything since I took over the project. (Modelling, uv’s, Textures, Lighting, Rendering, Optimization, Blueprints, testing and delivering.)
